At Ellcrslio this morning Nelson was sweated over three miles, having Raglan for companion. He is on the stout side. Lochiel (with neck-sweaters on) and Enid (stripped) strode round the tan in company at a medium pace. The former went very freely. Mangahone did useful work alone, and Remnant, the two-year-old colt by Robinson Crusoe, got over a mile at half pace. Balista performed half-pace work along with Pusckha and Hilda. The mare is just a trifle sore when she pulls up eaoh mornißg, but it so.on wears off. Manton and British Lion were associated together in medium-pace work. Both look muscular and well. Lady Norah went twice round on the tan at half pace. Manton and Lochiel are equal favorites for the Cup at 3to 1 each ; Hilda, 4to 1 (offered); Nolson, sto 1; British Lion, 7to 1 ; Clogs, 10 to 1. THE NATIVE FOOTBALLERS. Warbrick's team defeated the Wigan Club (Lancashire) by a goal and two tries to a try. Up to date the Natives have won 21 matches, lost 8, and drawn 3.
