Sjk,—l beg to draw the attention of the proper officials to the. bad state of the Queen's Drive between Royal terrace and Maori Hill. lam in the habit of driving a cart along that portion of the Belt three or four times a week, and the joltings of the cart are almost severe enough to throw one off it. There is a small unused quarry close by, and the stone from that could be used to fill up the holes. A couple of men, with a barrow apiece, could do the job easily in a day.
