Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedin, subject to any necessary alterations as under : For Northern Ports, overland daily, at 7.30 a m., at Chief Post Office. Late letters, mail van, North express train, at 8.10 a.m. Saturday, October 27. For Australian colonies (to connect with the Fijian at Timaru), at 7.30 a.m. Late letters, mail van, North train, at 8.5 a.m. Note.—Friday, 9fch prox,, being a Post Office holiday, mails usually despatched on that day will close on Thursday, Bth, at 8 p.m. There will be a delivery over the counter for town and •suburban letters from 8.30 to 9,30 same even ing.
