Malls close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedin, subject to any necessary alterations, as under : For Northern Ports, overland daily, at 7.30 a.m., Late letters, North express train, at 8.10 a.m. Tdbsday, July 3. For Lyttelton and Christchurch.—Per Penguin, at 2.20 p.m. Late letters, Chief Post Office, at 2.30 p.m. Wednesday, July i. For Northern Forts—Per Manapouri, at 12.20 p.m. Late letters, Chief Post Office, at 12.30 p.m. Friday, July 6. For Southland, Australian Colonies, India, China, Japan, Mauritius, Natal, Continent of Europe, United Kingdom, eta— Per Tarawera, at 1.20 p.m. Money orders (for Australian colonies onlv), registered letters, books, and newspapers, at 12.20 P Late letters, Chief Post Office, at 12.30 p.m. Letters for the United Kingdom must be specially addressed, and paid Is per Joz. The steamer Kahu will sail from Lyttelton for the Chatham Islands on the 2nd July, at 6 p.m. The steamer Aoreti will leave Hokitika for Dusky Bound and other ports about the 22nd July. (Signed) Arch.
