MONTECILLO v. UNION.
There was a very large gathering on the Northern Ground on Saturday, and, thanks to the presence of a policeman, the bounds were well kept. The Northerners won by 4 points to I point. Our report is held over.
Other Matches.—Jubilee v. Port Chalmers Union resulted in an easy win for the latter by two tries to nil. —Colonists v. British; the former won by 1 point tont7.—lmperial, (7 points—two potted goals by M'Lennan, and a try by Stevenson) v. Pirates Third, nil. —North-east Valley School v. Normal School resulted in a win for the Valley School by 5 points to 1 point.
