BURNT TO DEATH,

AUCKLAND, June 25.

Maurice Kelly, of Wade, stated to be 104 years of age, died yesterday morniDg. He drank whisky copiously for eighty-seven years ,according to his own statement. Elizabeth Beston, who was severely injured by burning at a shirt factory on the Great North road, and was sent to the hospital, succumbed to her injuries yesterday morning. Deceased was warming some glue at the fire when her dress caught, and before the flames could be extinguished Bhe was terribly burnt about the back and legs.
