Same Man.
“ Hi! you,” shouted a man on Randolph street, at another who was about turning the corner. "Ah! yes—glad to see you,” said the other, as he halted. " You are the same man,” said the first, as he came up, “ who visited my house last July, and sold me ” “ Some fly screens. Yes, sir, I am the man.” “ Well, I want to inform you that ” “That you have been trying to use’em for bed covers, and they don’t keep out the cold, as I warranted ’em to do. Have had several other complaints of a similar nature, and it’s all owing to people’s carelessness. I told you to fill up the holes with hot pitch before you used ’em on the bed. Be sure to have the pitch hot, and you’d better let ’em dry a day or two. Yes, sir—same man—be around next July—good day !”
