THE SIXTH AUSTRALIAN ELEVEN.
[By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) [Per Press Association.] London, June 8. The Australians in their first innings against Cambridge University made 266, the principal scorers being M‘Donnell 66, Bonnor 59, Jarvis 36, Blackham 20, Worrall 11-. [The principal scorers for the University in their first innings of 333 were H. J. Mordaunt, 78; G. Kemp, 65; and H. Hale, 38. Mordaunt only went up from Eton last year, and made his first appearance in the University Eleven this season. He is described as batting and fielding in great style, and as bowling slow with great success. Kemp, who has been a member of the University team for two or three seasons, is an admirable bat and good field. Hale is an Australian student, who takes his place in the team this season for the second time. He is a hard-working all-round cricketer and a very good bowler.]
