RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT. (Before E. H. Carew, Esq., R.M.) B. C. Calverlcy v. J. Whyte.—Claim, LI lis, for milk supplied. Mr W. Macgregor appeared for defendant. It appeared from the evidence that the milk had been ordered by defendant for an invalid.—Judgment for plaintiff. Louis Faigan v. J. Page.—Claim, LI, on a judgment summons. Mr W. Macgregor appeared for plaintiff.—Defendant, who did not appear was ordered to pay the sum by the 9th June, in default three days' imprisonment. WARDEN'S COURT. Warden Carew sat in connection with the Warden's Court this morning. The Warden announced that he would give his decision on Monday respecting the application of Thomas Begg, Anderson Bay, who applied for a forfeiture of Vannini's license, he not having complied with tho regulations. The applications of Robert and Arthur Lewis for an extended claim over two acres at Blacksmith Gully, Hindon, was granted. The application of John Butler for license to search for antimony in the Silver Peaks, of Donald Sutherland and others, and Donald Sutherland (for self), for water-races at Milford Sound, were adjourned until July G. __^___
