THE INSTALLATION OF G.M. ATKINSON.
[Fkom Oub Own Correspondent.] WELLINGTON, May 29. Fully 500 Masons were present at Sir H. Atkinson's installation last night. The District Grand Lodge of Otago and Southland, E.C., was represented by Bro. Sir R. Stout (who made a neat congratulatory address) and Bro. Fish, M.H.R. ; while Bro. Feldwick, M.H.R., represented the Scotch Constitution, and apologised for the unavoidable absenco of D.G.M. Gore, who tendered his hearty congratulations. The only Otago subordinate lodges represented were—Celtic, by Bro. Bracken, and Clutha, by Bro. Mackenzie, M.H.R., and St. Andrew. [Per Pres3 Association. J At the installation the Provincial Grand Lodges of Canterbury, Auckland, Otago, and Southland, and Westland were represented, and numerous brethren were present from other Scotch, English, and Irish Lodges. Sir fl. Atkinson promised that as soon as time permitted he would look into the subject of benevolence, and visit every lodge in his district. ___»^_^—
