Mr Grant, a New Zealand pastoralist, has arrived at Port Augusta overland from Albany. Ho had splendid weather during his trip, and states that there is plenty of feed and water to bo obtained. Some of his horses were brought into town in excellent condition. He considers that the country over which ho passed is good for pastoral purposes, but unfit for agriculture. Mr Grant had previously travelled overland from Derby to Perth.
