For the million and a half of Allsopp’s ordinary and preference shares offered to the public, the applications exceed 100,000,000. la the present case it is more than ever certain that only the trade will receive an allotment. Tiro quotation in the market in 117-19, or 10-12 over the issue price, a difference sufficient to account lor the extent of the applications.
