Sir,—l Bhall esteem it a favor if you will kindly give mo space in your paper for the following statement re my art union : Just as the drawing is about to tako place I am informed by tho police (this morning) that the piano (first prize) not being a work of art its withdrawal is therefore necessary and demanded by them, I have consequently determined that those who have supported mo shall in no way have reason to be dissatisfied with the prize I intend to substitute.
