VISIT OF H.M.S. OPAL.
[Special to the Star.] AUCKLAND, February 18. H.M. Opal will leave Auckland about next Wednesday for a cruise South. She will probably go from Auckland to Lyttelton, thence to Port Chalmers and the Sounds, returning to Wellington and Auckland in about two months. The Opal is expected to remain over a fortnight at Lyttelton and Dunedin. Many of the officers who have not yet visited the South Island are much pleased at the prospect of tills visit.
