A Young Reprobate. —A hoy named Jam.* M‘Larni, aged only fifteen, was ciiarged with indecently and violently assaulting a little girl named Lucy Ryan, From the evidence of the girl’s mother, a boy named Joseph F. Tonic, and the girl’s younger brother, it appeared that the little girl and her brother were out together on Thursday afternoon, and that when near the bridge crossing the Roslyn tramway-line the accused accostcfl them and assaulted the girl.—After Dr Ogston and Detective Maddorn had given evidence, accused, who said that he was not near the place mentioned on the day in question, was committed for trial.
