This Department will continue, as formerly, to be under the management of Mr James Mollison, who is widely and favorably known; and with him is a specially-trained Staff of Assistants, Ladies may therefore depend on being attended to with civility and despatch. LADIES' DRESS DEPARTMENT. This Department is under the control and careful management of Miss Fergus, whose cervices we have been fortunate in retaining, and who has for some years back conducted this department with credit to herself and satisfaction to our customers. THIRDGENTLEMEN'S OUTFIT DEPARTMENT. This Department will be under the personal care and management of our Mr iDWABD Mills, whose taste and judgment as a buyer and whose pleasing ability as a seller are widely known throughout the whole of Otago and Southland. A word of special notice is desired as to this Department. We have long fe't that it has not been stocked with a tufficiently select class of Roods, and we determined that a prominent feature in the reorganising of our Establishment should be the proper overhaul of this Department. This has accordingly been done by cur Mr Mills, and we now confidently commend it to the notice of the gentlemen of the city. Everyth'ng that is new in Hats, Shirts, Oxford. Regatta, and oth«r Scarves, Handkerchiefs, Collars, and Gentlemen's Hosiery is to be had here, and at lowest prices. The completeness of the selection, and the thoroughness with which this Department will be conducted, is a decidedly new and pleasing feature in our business. The system upon which we intend pushing our trade deserves especial notice. The success which has hitherto attended our Periodical Cash Sa'eshas been a matter of note and of general comment, and has been attributable to the energy and the judgment in purchasing and the careful and pleasing management of Mr James Mollison. "We therefore intend, now, under hia especial direction, aided by that of Mr Mills, to carry out a system of trade as nearly analogous as can be to the business transacted with so much success by our Cash Sales. In effect we wish to work up to and inti a Cash Trade, and, in order to make it acceptable to our Customer?, we shall strain every nerve in the purchase of goods of suitable quality and style, and in placing them before our customers in such a manner, and with such courtesy and civility, as shall merit their approval. Our customers shall thus be enabled to retain to themselves, in the Lowncss of the Price of our Goods, the Extra Profits which would otherwise go to meet the book-debt losses in a credit system.

We feel assured that our system now inaugurated will meet the approval of oar patrons, and that the consideration which we shall Bhow to all elapses of customers in every department, coupled with the Moderate Prices and the Sterling Value and High-class Quality of our Stock, kept ever fresh, will merit for us the premier place and name as the GEO! GB STiJEET DRAPERY WAREHOUSE. Wc have been justly proud of the lead which we have taken in the past through being favored with a highly-prized class of custom by patrons from all parts of the City and province, and that lead wc are determined we shall maintain. OUR ESTABLISHMENT SHALL BE SELECT STOCK, MODERATE PRICES, COURTEOUS AND UNREMITTING ATTENTION. To enable us to carry out the system of trade which we have now commenced, we have thoroughly n novated our extensive premises; wc have delayed our purchases until the Autumn and Winter Season's Goods were all to hand ; we have made personal inspection of every class of goods, and secured those best suited to the tastes of our customers. Everything is new, fresh, and of Latest Style and Superior Quality, and the arrangements for accommodation and serving of a LARGE AND EVER-INCREASING CONNECTION OF CUSTOMERS

are of the very best and most attractive lend.
