FOUL PLAY SUSPECTED.

CHRISTCHURCH, February 13.

A married woman named Annie Watson, who resided with her husband on the East Belt, died at her residence on February 8, at (i a.m., and was buried on the following day in Addington Cemetery. In consequence of representations made to the police that deceased and her husband did not live happily together, and that quarrels between them were known to have taken place shortly before the woman's death, a coroner's warrant for exhumation of the body was signed by Mr Bectham, and it was exhumed this morning. An inquest will be held this evening.
