Passengers: Ur and Urs Marsden, Mesdames Trask, Lucas, Walsh, Misses Wright, Hardy, Revs. Morley, Fee, Garllck and Blair, Messrs Trask, Williams, Reid, Arbon, GUfilian, child, Ross, Marshall; and five in the steerage. Ohau, s.s., 411 tons, Berneoh, from Greymouth. SAlLED.—February 10. Beautiful Star, s.s , 146 tons, Fenn, for Oamaru. The Rotorua discharged cargo at the Rattray street wharf to-day. The Tarawera embarked cargo at the Victoria wharf to-day, and sailed for Auckland direct at 6 p.m. The Gleaner is discharging cargo at the Rattray street wharf. The Jessie Readman has only a little cargo to pat out for this port. The Ohau, with SOS tons coal from Greymouth, anived at Port Chalmers at 9 p.m. yesterday, and steamed alongside the Bowen pier to discharge. She left Greymouth at C a.m. on the Bth inst, and experienced strong S.W. gale, with high sea and cloudy weather, tire whole of the passage. We thank Purser Seigel for report. The Rotorua, from Nelson via Lyttelton and intermediate ports, arrived at Port Chalmers at 4 p.m. yes erday, and alter discharging a small quantity of cargo she steamed up to Dunedin. She left Nelson at 3.15 p.m. on the 7th Inst.; called at Picton, and reached Wellington at G. 20 a.m. on the Sth ; left again at 3 p.m. same day, and arrived at Lytteltou at G45 a.in. on the 9th ; pushed on again for headquarters at G p.m. same day; passed Akaroa at 9.45 p.m,, and entered Taiaroa Heads at 3.20 p.m yesterday, and steamed up to Dunedin as above. From Nelson to Wellington she experienced moderate N.W. winds, with fine weather and thence to arrival strong southerly gale with heavy head sea. THE DIRECT STEAMERS. The s.s. lonic reached Ilohart yesterday evening ami will leave for New Zealand ports to-day. MOVEMENTS OF THE UNION STEAM SHIP COMPANY’S FLEET Saturday, Fhbruart 11.
