THE MAY QUEEN. The May Queen has settled down considerably in the water. At half-tide the (ulwarks were Just clear, but as the tide rose the waves washed over the poop. She ij an Iron barque of 781 lone gross register, and was built under special survey at Aberdeen in ISSJ by Messrs A. Hall and Co. She was classed at her last survey as ‘AAI. It is said that Mr John Mill intends purchasing the wreck. Five hundred tons of cargo have been got out of (he May Queen. The water at high tide covers the stern and almost reaches ths main hatches, the forehatch being the only one which can be woiked.
