I read a letter in your columns the other evening in reference to typhoid fever, wl ich does not seem to attract the notice such an important matter deserves. Though agreeing witli " Precaution " on the drainage question, it is well known that impure milk is as often the cause. There are many people, delicate and otherwise, who drink milk in preference to other fluids. Now, sir, any vendor of milk from an ailing cow is the means of causing disease and oftentimes death I hope that the authorities will be on the alert. —I am, etc., Scp.uti.ny.
