Messrs Brown and Wood spoke in high terms of the reception they had received, and stated that it had removed the bad impression created by their experiences in Victoria. Mr Wood also gaVo colonial cyclists some good advice. Ho said that lie had noticed how fond many cyclists were of getting close to the heads of the machines. He would like to see them about two inches further down on the bicycles, as they would get better driving power, and be more comfortable both on the track and the road. He did not agree with training beforo breakfast, and thought that better results could be obtained by training in the evening. At the Tinwald races Urland fell down on the course, and died in a few minutes.
