Ii is rumored that if Russia recognises the annexation of Alsace and Lorraine, Germany will arrange an Austro-Russian agreement respecting Bulgaria. It is also reported that the valuables in the Imperial chateaux in Poland have been removed to the interior.

The * Moscow Gazette' complains of the paucity of Russian warships in tho Eastern Pacific.
VIENNA, January 3,
The official feeling here has suddenly become confident of peace, the Russian Military Attache declaring that the Czar is absolutely opposed to war.
