It is an axiom in business co-partnerships that no member shall enter into transactions which he conceals from the firm, ft should be a rule of morals, and of affection, that no man's partner in the older and sacred family compact should be in ignorance of what concerns her even more than him. There is no partnership in which all members have not a voice; and it is simply fraud—in matrimony no less than in business—when one of the "firm" deceives or disregards the other. "Why dont you stir yourself and get something to do ?" was asked of a laiy fellow. "Well, I read somewhere once, that ' everthing comes to him who waits,' and I don't want to do anything that will be liable to injure my prospects."
