VOLUNTEER INTELLIGENCE.
The Ordnance Battalion paraded last night, and were put through the regular drill. The following was the parade State: —
- Staff ( Commandant Goldie and Sergeant.major t Band: 1 bandmaster, 86 bandsmen, Dunedin Navals; X captain, 1 lieutenant, 4 sergeants, 4 corporals, 48 rank and flle; total, 63.. Port Chalmers Navals; 1 captain, X nontenant, 1 color-sergeant, 4 sergeants, 8 corporals, X bugler, 46 privates; total, 67. Peninsula Navals; X captain, X lieutenant, X sublieutenant, X color-sergeant, 2 sergeants, 8 corporals, 1 bugler, 26 privates; total, 88. B Battery : X captain. 2 lieutenants, X quarter- 1 - master-sergeant, 4 sergeants, X bugler, 86 privates; total* 44. L Battery: X lieutenant, X sub-lieutenant, X quartermaster sergeant, 4 sergeants, 2 corporals, X bugler, 27 privates; total, 87. Engineers; X lieutenant, X sergeant-major, 2 ser geants, X corporal, 28 privates; total, 85.
