Mrs Emma Field, of Alexandra street, oommitted suicide by drowning in the Domain pond, Deceased, a widow, had been low-spirited> : ,since the death of her husband three weeks ago,, The body was founds on Sunday,.. forenQon,v,and vicinity of the pond were found her parasol, bonnet, and' dress.' In the pooket of the dress was a letter addressed to Dr M'Kellar, enclosing LS for medioal attendanoe,„*nd stating her: intention to drown lierself. Deceased wad forty-seven no relatives4n>the Colony.t -n ,■ •■> John Wallace, of Papatoitoi, died on Saturday of creeping' paralysis.
