A DANGEROUS ENTRANCE.
TO THE EDITOR. Sib,— The great fire at the Exeter Theatre has caused quite a scare amongst our City Fathers, and the exits and entrances of our places of amusement are being carefully looked into. One point of danger they did not look at ii the entrance to tho stalls and pit of tho Princess’s Theatre. This is a very dangerous trap to the youth of this City. Surely the architect who designed this theatre never intended the entrance from this point. No, that lam sure he did not; but it has been made by the proprietor of the beer-shop, who also owns the theatre, to bring grist to his mill. A visit between the acts will corroborate my statement. Hoping some alteration will be made for the sake of health and morality of playgoers—l am, etc.. Sky Pilot. Dunedip, October 24.
