After an absence from Auckland of twelve months, Mr Justice Gillies again took his seat on the Bench at the Supreme Court yesterday. There was a large attendance of the legal profession, and Mr Hesketh, on their behalf, read an address of welcome to His Honor, stating that his enforced retirement through ill-health had caused considerable regret.
