Woolpaoks have met with a considerable amount of attention, and several fairsized parcels have changed hands, the current quotation being 3b to 8s 3d. Patna rice has been sold at L2l, and beat dressed Japan at LIS. , . The first annual report of the Stirling dairy factory shows that 162,082 gallons of milk were purchased, during the year for L 2.868, and 162,6001b of cheese were manufactured. Of the latter 68,8821b were sold, realising L 968. The directors report that the past season was an unfavorable one for plaolng oheese,

owing to the exceptionally fine weather that has prevailed in Australia. Notwithstanding the low prices for cheese that have ruled, tha operations of the factory have been conducted without loss, the factory has been thoroughly established, and all the heavy preliminary expenses have been met. The factory at Gore sold oheese to the value of L 2.210, paid away L 2.070 for milk, and L 370 in wages. RABBIT-SKIN BUSINESS. Referring to Messrs Rerashardt, M'Donatd, and Co.'s circular " defying" me to substantiate statements already published with regard to the cost of shi ping' to, and ealo in, London, as previously stated, the figures published by me are from actual account sales, which I am prepared to allow any of cur shipping clients to peruse. If Messrs Remuhardt, M'Donald, and Co. care to ship their rabbit-skins to our London Office, I am ready to guarantee that the post of shipment and sale, including all charges and commissions, docs not exceed on an averago 2Jd per lb. The firm nam.d can, therefore, easily prove the truth of my statements.
