A teaspoonful of it is infused in a cup of boiling water, stirred, allowed to settle, the clear liquor poured off, sweetened and milk added; it is then a drink that stands highest as a pure stimulant. It Prevents and Cures Colds by equalising the circulation and opening the pores of the skin. It is also good for cramps, pains in the stomach, etc. The Essence is pleasant to take with a little warm water and sugar. It is far superior to whisky toddy or any alcoholic drink. The Cordial is similar, being ready for drinking as it is. The price of the Powder is 6d per oz, Is 6d|lb, 2s 6d Jib, and 5s lb tin. DANDELION COFFEE AND PILLS. It is surprising to some how these Fedicines keep up their sale. Today we sold (86 Tins of the Coffee and about 30 Boxes of the Pills. For years past a number of families have not used any other but our Dandelion Coffee to their meals, and that is one reason they give for their continued good health. The Pills are the cheapest and best family medicine extant, cheaper than salts, and far better, as they don't simply stimulate the bowels, but correct the stomach and whole digestive tract. The Coffee J is sold at 2s lb; the Pills are pearl-coated, and 42 in a box for Is, three boxes for 2s 6d. Good for stomach, liver, kidney, and nerves.
