The late Monsiguor Fynes’s will bequeathes LIOQ towards the establishment of a Magdalen asylum, LIOO to the Benedictine Fathers, and LSO for the celebration of masses for the soul of deceased. The remainder of the estate is to be devoted to the establishment of Roman Catholic schools. Monsignor Fynes’s property at Roganville has been conveyed to the Clergy Association, founded for the benefit of infirm and superannuated priests.
