THE JUBILEE CELEBRATION.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir,— As a church parade and divine service are proposed to form part of the rejoicings during the Jubilee, might I suggest that exofficors and men of the Imperial Army and Navy be requested to turn out and take part in the above. At the same time, would it not be advisable to commence the rejoicings by having this parade on the afternoon of Sunday, the 19th (the King of Kings’ day)? This would allow freedom to those who wish to show respect to Her Most Gracious Majesty, and not interfere with the three days’ holiday. —I am, etc., . E, Royston Bradshaw. Dunedin, June 6.
