Warden Bevel), in. relating the applications, said that, before the applicants went to the expense of surveying the owtme, he did not think it advisable to gnat any more special claims under the droomstanoes at Bine Spur. It was iound that the special claim granted to the Gabriel Gully Tailings Oompsnv did interfere with the free discharge of the tailings into the gully; but this had beep granted at the time lor special reasons, when was being tried. He considered that the claims applied for. if granted, would Injuriously interfere with the wonting of the Blur Spur claims It waa not at if the method they purposed using was a new invention. As tbs Bine Spur olaimholders had sent Home an agent to float their claims on the London market, the granting of a special claim in the petition applied for would, he conceived, be injurious to futon interests. It also appeared that the claims had bom taken op mote for speculation than lor actual working.
