WELLINGTON, April 7,
In the Supreme Court to-day the Crown Prosecutor said that Crabtree had given np the name of the person to whom he sold" the plate stolen from Knowles’s, and inquiries were being made. Prisoner was again remanded for sentence till Wednesday. At a meeting of citizens to-day to consider the question of celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee, a committee, consisting of the Governor, the city members, the Mayor and Council, the Harbor Board, and clergymen, was appointed to submit proposals to a future meeting.
