Mr Bathgate appeared for plaintiff; Mr Hodgkins for defendant.—Defendant admitted the claim, and judgment was given accordingly. J. Glossop v. J. Drunkenness. — David Cain and Frederick Hurt were convicted and discharged ; Lawrence Kelly was fined 10s, in default twenty-fours’ imprisonment; Margaret Lynch, 20s or three days’. Bye-i.aw Breaches. —Richard Thompson, for allowing cattle to wander in the Northeast Valley, was fined Is and costs. Stephen John Stevens, for driving an express waggon over portion of a footway in Cumberland street which is not a duly authorised crossing, was fined Is, without costs.
