VOLUNTEER INTELLIGENCE.
A match was fired at Anderson Bay on Saturday afternoon, between the Dunedin Engineers and the Peninsula Naval Artillery, and resulted in a viotory for the Engineers by 49 points. The following are the scores of both teams:—
Grand total 488 On Saturday afternoon the Dunedin City Guards and North Dunedin Rifles fired a friendly match at Pelichet Bay range. Ranges—2ooyds, 400 yds, and 500 yds; five shots and one sighting shot at each range. The members of the above corps who fired against one another last month were excluded from firing in this match. From the scores given below, it will be seen that the Guards were victorious by 9 points. Dunedin City Guards.
