DEATH BY NATURAL CAUSES.
TO THE EDITOR, Sir, —Permit me to fully endorse " Inquirer's " suggestion re the necessity of tho Minister of Justice ordering the body of the unfortunate girl Jessie Carrick to be exhumed for the purpose of post mortem examination. Although medical science has of late made wonderful strides, 1 consider it almo3t impossible for any medical man to give a correct opinion by simply looking at the exterior appearance of the body of a young girl, apparently in perfect health, and suddenly struck down by the hand of Death. Undoubtedly a grave error of judgment has been committed ; but there is yet time for the Minister of Justice to satisfy the public mind. Otherwise, a certain amount of suspicion will for ever exist about this pcor girl's sudden call before the throne of her M aker. —I am, etc., Fl AT Justiti A i Dunedin, March 29.
