Tli,e Hon. Mr Stout lias received an influential requisition from Invercargill asking him to deliver a political address there, and it is not unlikely that he will accede to the request,
The Minister for Mines and Professor Black, with Mr Ussher, Resident Engineer, will arrive in Lawrence on Monday evening from Dunedin, proceeding the following morning by special coach to Pembroke, and thenoe on horseback via Haast Puss to tho West Coast. It is expected that about a mouth will he occupied in the trip.
