THE BRIDGE OVER THE HARBOR.

TO THK EDITOR. Sir, —If the property-owners in Caversham, St. Kilda, ami South Dunedin allow the proposed bridge across the harbor to be constructed, the value of their properties will bo at once greatly decreased. The traffic will be diverted, and the water frontage will be cut off, and all chance of docks and shipbuilding yards at the head of tho bay will be gone. I trust that the ratepayers and borough councils on tho Flat will oppose to tho utmost the construction of this bridge, which will only benefit a few huri'o land-owners at our expense.—l am, otc ° South Dunedin. South Dunedin, March 4.
