FATALITIES.

William U. Lloyde ' was brought from Collingwood to Nelson yesterday, and died from heart disease ten minutes .ifter his admission to the hospital. He was about fifty years of age, and had been a miner in Colliiigwood district about twenty-six years. Marriott Sheard, a coal-miner, was killed instantaneously in the Brunner mine last night, while working in that part of the mine where the banquet to the Premier was held. Nearly a truckful of coal and stone fell on him. He was thirty years of age, and leaves a widow and seven children.

A passenger by the Foxton coach, who got in at Foxton yesterday, was found dead last night when the coach arrived in town. From papers found on him it is surmised that the deceased is John Wilding, who had been engaged as overseer on the WellingtonManawatn Railway. He has a daughter a schoolmistress in Marton, and it is believed that he has friends in Oamaru. Wilding was on his way to the Wellington Hospital.
