CITY MAYORAL ELECTION.
The poll in connection with the City mayoral election took place to-day at the Town Hall, the candidates being Messrs D. M. Spedding, A. Scoullar, and J. Earner. The'supporters of each seemed to be working pretty vigorously to bring the voters to the booth, but a fewer number of votes were recorded when We went' to press than was the last year. The result, with most people, seemed an open question, and some surprise will be caused whichever candidate is successful.
