I myself, as an ex-member of a Highland Brfgadejn the Old Country, feel proud of Dunedlh having at last taken tms matter, up. as where in all New Zealand ought there to be a Highland Brigade if not in Dunedin ? I feel confident that the corps will be a success, and I hope that ail true Highlandmen and Scotsmen will flock to join the ranks of this Highland Brigade, which will ere 4ong-be-one of-the-leading-companies in Dunedin. If everything is arranged for the raising of the Brigade, the contract for clothing should, if possible, be kept in the City, X -have no doubt that Dnnedin could produce everything necessary equal to the Home Country.—! am, etc., Ex-Member Inverness Highland - i Brigade.
