NOTICE. Tuesday, 25th inst., being a Post Office holiday, all mails usually despatched on that day will bo closed at 8 p.m. on Monday, 24th inst. A delivery by letter carriers, etc., will be made at tho counter on the evening of Monday, 24th inst., between the hours of 8 and 9 p.m. On Wednesday, 26th inst. (Boxing Day), all mails will be despatched up till 10 a. in. Letter carmrs will make a morning delivery, and all departments of the office will be open from 9 till 10 a.m. The 8.8. Tongariro will leave Lyttelton for London via Rio de Janeiro, on Saturday, 29th inst.
