TO THE EDITOB, Sib,— Lately there has been considerable interest taken in the game of draughts, and I see from to-day’s papers that a club is about being formed. Surely there must be a number of chess-players in our midst. Why don’t the leading players take action and also form a club 7 The season Is just commencing, I trust some abler pen will advocate the cause. No time should be lost. —I am, etc., A Chess-plates.
