By the Brush system any number of Lights from 1 to 40 each, of 2,000 nominal candlepower, or any number from 1 to 12 each, of 0,000 candle-power, or a single light of 50,000 or more candle-power, can be produced from one Dynamo Machine. The connecting wires may be extended over circuits of many miles, and greater economy and simplicity are secured than by any other system. The aggregate of Electric Light Illumination carried out under this system is far in excess of the total amount of Electric Lighting afforded by all the other systems combined. BRUSH PLANT. FERRANTI. The greatest excitement has been occasioned throughout Europe and America by the wonderful discoveries of Signor Lerrauti, Sir W. Thompson, ami Mr Alfred Thompson, whereby Electricity can be supplied for large systems of incandescent lighting at one-third of the cost of the machinery used for other systems. Any number of lights can be supplied from one centre over an area of four square miles.
