CRIMINAL CALENDAR.

The following is the calendar of prisoners for trial at the ensuing session of the Supreme Court at Dunedin, commencing on Monday, 17th July inst., before His Honor Mr Justice Williams i Ah Yow, robbery with violence at Alexandra. Thomas Ramage, rape at Green Island. Thomas Hodgetts, stealing money and other valuable articles from a dwelling at Dunedin. Eliza Whittet, stealing jewellery from a dwelling at South Dunedin. John Wilson, stealing money from the person in a railway carriage between Gore and Balolutha. Charles Coleman, forging and uttering at Shag Valley. John Buchanan alias Stephens, same. John Francis Kltlo, murder at Miller’s Plat. OK BAIL. John Hewitt, stealing bullock hides at Dunedin. Charles Wilkins, forging trade marks at Dunedin. Andrew Nellson, forging trade mark* at Dunedin. Richard Nelme*, cattle-stealing at Palmerston. Samuel H. Lees, forgery at Dunedin. Philip Waldmann, who was convicted at the last Bitting of the Court upon a charge of arson at Queenstown, will be Drought up for sentence. The prisoner was remanded pending the decision of the Court of Appeal on points reserved. There is also another charge of arson to be disposed of.
