THE NEW ZEALAND RIFLE ASSOCIATION.
TO TEB KDITOB. Sir, I understand that a meeting of Volunteers and citizens will shortly be held to consider what steps are to be taken towardshavingthenext competition of the New Zealand Ride Association held some* where near Dunedin. One of the principal points for discussion will probably be on tho choice of a site for a range. The spot picked upon would require to be at least a milo from any existing range, and should ba within easy distance of a railway station. Can any of our country Volunteers make % suggestion ?—I am, etc., Red-coat. Dunedin, May 26.
