J. Patton, a farmer at Teaueraki, on getting up at about five o’clock on Sunday morning found, four of his grain stacks on fj re —one of wheat and three of oats. He had no insurance on the stacks, which were completely destroyed, but it is believed (adds the ‘North Otago Times’) that some person having a lien on them had them insured.
