AQUERY.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—Can you or any of your readers inform mc if there was ever a time in the history of Ireland when if a Roman Catholic owned a horse worth, say LSO, and a Protestant offered him L 5 for it he was by British law compelled to let the Protestant have it for L 5; if not, would he (tha Catholic) be imprisoned ?—I am, etc., Paddy from Cork.
