The amount of revenue received .at the Customhouse on goods cleared this day for consumption was L 1.459 14s lOd. Mr William Watson to-day received a telegram from Rcefton slating that tho Welcome Company partially clean lip to-morrow ; and it is expected that it will extinguish the existing ove>draft, which amounted to LB.OOO when crushing was commenced about a month ago Mr J. A. Mackenzie Um afternoon received a telegram from Cr cm well informing him tint the Cromwell Quartz-mining Company had lodged with their bankers a cake of SOSoz of retorted gold from about 600 tons of stone. Tho ‘ Bnue Herald 1 reporta tho sale of Mount Stewart Farm, by Messrs Little Brothers, for LS.OOO. The London Markets, The Now Zealand Loin and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) have received thefollowingtelegram from their London office, dated February 1“ Wool —Market unchanged Up to date 178,000 bales have arrived. Trade in the manufacturing districts Is unchanged. Wheat —Market flat. Adelaide is worth 60s per 4061b; Victoria do. 49s 6d; New Zealand do, 4,75. Tallow Market Arm. Best mutton is quoted at 87s per cwt. ; do, beef, 34s Leather— Market quiet. Best sides are worth lUd per lb."
