One hundred and twenty-nine thousand eight hundred bales ware catalogued duriug the series. The Minister of Foreign Affairs having challenged a vote of want of confidence on the Home polioy, the Chamber of Deputies passed a vote of confidence by a largo majority. The Minister of Finance has proposed new taxes to the extent of two millions sterling, in consequence of deficiencies. ST. PETERSBURG, December 5. The Emperor arrived here to-d*y. December 6.
Two persous have been arrested at Moscow on suspicion of being connected with the reofnt attempt made on the Cz*r's life. Several words previously omitted in transmission show that the railroad to Moscow had been tunnelled, and the explosives fired ns the train passed over. GLASGOW, December 3. Referring to the New Zealand loan, the ' Times's' money article questions whether it is for the good of the Colony that its progress should be so exclusively farwarded by borrowed money. There is a severe famine in Upper Silesia.
